This information seems to me like general information about law level lasers.
What is important about law level lasers is the wavelength. As I can see this Erchonia laser is a cold laser, just like our Heltschl lasers.
To treat burns it does need to be a cold laser, otherwise it will burn the skin even more.

Our Heltschl lasers do have a wavelength from 675nm ( this is the weakest lasers, like 5mW (only for privat use)
and 10mW soft laser ( or law level laser) which is ok to use for acupuncture points. ( mine is like that)
About 1 minutte per point is right treatmentlength for this acupuncturepoints with a 10 mW soft-laser

The stronger hand hold soft -lasers like 20 mW, 30 mW and 50 mW do have wavelenghts from 675 / 685 nm. They are best if a therapist does have to treat larger spots / areas / like bigger wounds
otherwise it would take too long time to make proper treatments. I do have special treatment -scedule which does show how big area in cm2 and how long time treatment should take
per day.
Lately they also did make new 80 mW - and 100 mW softlaser.

For real big treatment-areas there are also big Area- Laser FL unit which can treat very big areas of the body at the same time. ( wavelenght 685 nm). This is big unit and not hand- hold soft lasers.
( 80 mW, 120mW and 200 mW) avaliable.

This erchonia lasers do only have 2,5 - 5 mW, and this seems very low . Soft - laser ( also called low - level laser) have been used for many years in Europe, and there is a lot of experience with this lasers in Europe. We do use soft lasers (5mW) with such low only for privat use, no therapists do use them. It needs to be at least a 10 mW for acupuncture points.

All laser light is dangerous for eyes, so maybe thats why they do have only such low effect in USA, but even this low mW can hurt the eye if you do look into it. In Austria / Germany they do use special laser- glasses for both patient and therapists, so the light will not harm the eyes / for protection in any way

As far as I do know this Heltschl lasers are among the best there is avaliable in Europe. They do work with normal batteries, so it is cheap to use them, and they are always ready to use, you do not need to wait and reload them, only change to new batteries - after about 30 hours of use - when batteries are getting weak and not giving same effect any more, then it turnes off itself and after changing batteries it is ready to work immediately again( one can also buy a shorter type with flat / tiny batteries- this will make it a bit more expensive to work with )

As for the treatment indications soft lasers are used for all kind of problems ( skin -, after surgery, painrelief, throat/ nose ear problems, sports- medicine, dental problems, revmatism, healing of wounds acupuncture and much, much more for humans and animals as well. So what those people do claim is correct, only much more indications than mentioned here
